At the end of summer, DYT packed its bags and moved into a new office in the CLPE (Centre for Literacy in Primary Education) Centre in London.

Settling in to our new office has proved to be an exciting and invigorating time. In addition to being home to a beautiful Literacy Library and a kitchen where illustrators draw art directly on the walls, the CLPE Centre is an important hub for educators and literacy experts.

Working in the same building as CLPE (an influential children’s literacy charity working with primary schools) and First Story (the leading creative writing charity for young people with its flagship programme placing writers into secondary schools to foster creativity, confidence and ability) has opened the door for us to share expertise, ideas and plans.

DYT CEO Chris Rossiter says, “We are delighted to be part of such a dynamic and influential group of literacy advocates, and believe that future collaborations with both CLPE and First Story will greatly support the teachers and students who need the most support.”
