Literacy difficulties audit
Reviewing classroom practice and the use of structured interventions, we will help you to identify how to get the most out of your existing resources to meet the needs of learners with literacy difficulties.
Classroom practice review
Analysing the various aspects of classroom practice from lesson plans, curriculum, inclusive pedagogy, formative assessment, the learning environment and use of resources.
Analysing learner outcomes
Reviewing learner outcomes in reading, writing and language across the curriculum to benchmark learners against national standards and provide an action plan to close gaps in progress.
Primary teaching and learning
Encouraging your teaching staff to reflect and identify ways to self-improve through an in-depth review of teaching, planning and lessons for literacy.
Secondary teaching and learning
Providing subject teachers with comprehensive CPD and embedding disciplinary specific methods to improve literacy across the curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4.
INSET days
Our consultants can deliver whole-workforce or departmental INSET sessions to transform literacy and inclusion. Full or half days or online ‘twilight’ sessions are available.
You will receive clear and concise plans of action with any form of in-school support.
Following an introductory call with our education team, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive, fully costed proposal and you’ll be matched with one of our expert consultant teachers based on your school’s needs and location. Your consultant will lead and facilitate all support, and will collaborate with your leadership and teaching teams based on your team’s schedules.
Self-led professional development (based on our online learning hub) will sometimes be recommended or included in your costed proposal. Time allocated for in-school consultancy work will exclude any online based CPD.
Our in-school consultancy starts from £750 and is competitively priced.
