Introducing DYT’s new Driving Inclusion System – two intensive, comprehensive, and evidence-based professional development programmes aimed at improving SEND provision, literacy progress and outcomes for learners with literacy difficulties and SEND.
At DYT, we believe that the key to truly inclusive education is in the hands of the school’s workforce. The Driving Inclusion system offers impactful, long-term training for key practitioners found in every school – the SENCo and literacy leaders.
An action research programme comprised of six modules which challenge the participant’s understanding of inclusion and disadvantage in order to improve literacy. Ideal for all practitioners with a responsibility for literacy.
A comprehensive programme with six evidence-based modules. Each module aims to address a unique challenge faced by SENCos and inclusion leads in both primary and secondary settings.
Both Driving Inclusion programmes are hosted on DYT’s new professional learning hub. Participants will work at their own pace through six self-directed modules, guided by regular live or recorded sessions led by our consultant teachers.
We are currently recruiting for the Spring ’22 cohorts of both Driving Inclusion programmes.
Creating Champions for Literacy Difficulties: Purchase one ‘seat’ for £550, or two (‘mix & match’) for £900.
The Strategic SENCo: £400 per person (limited time offer)
We are able to offer competitively rates for schools or trusts booking five or more spaces – please contact us for further details.
Practical strategies:
All of DYT’s professional development services are built around easily-applicable and practical strategies and advice. Participants will be able to reflect and implement new strategies in their settings from day one.
Whole-school approach:
Your whole school will benefit from our strategies, frameworks and guidance. Participants will discover how to effectively work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that SEND support is transformed across their setting.
Improve outcomes for all of your learners:
The SEND-friendly practices shared in the programmes can be used in the classroom to support all learners, not just those with identified support needs.
